INSTRUCTIONS:
If you have a Nokia 5165 like I do you will need to convert the
tone to the proper Nokia Binary format. To do this, you can visit
the Ringtone
Nation site to use the Uniring converter. Uniring will convert
the RTTTL code to whatever format you need -- Nokia Binary or
most other cell phone ringtone formats.
You
will need to highlight the text above (beginning with "okh"
and ending with "8p"), copy it and paste it into the
converter window on the Ringtone
Nation. Web site. You must select the proper format for your
cellphone for the correct conversion. You can then e-mail it to
your cellphone from the Uniring converter Web site. If you haven't
done this before, find someone who knows what they are doing or
ask your cellphone provider. Most cellphones can receive e-mail
even if you aren't signed up for the extra-cost e-mail option
(my Cellular One Nokia can receive messages for free, but can't
send them without paying extra).
The
converted ringtone will be recognized by your phone when it is
received (if it is turned on, that is). On my Nokia, I had the
option of listening to it and then saving it or discarding it.
If
you have questions about it, try reading the Ringtone
FAQ which
is a fantastic resource.
All
of this may sound difficult, but it isn't. If I can help, drop
me a line.
Good
luck!
