This photo shows my hobby area in the basement of my parents' home. Looks like I've got the plans for something spread out at left on the table. The planes hanging on the pegboard are all 1/2A, and include, from left: Flite Streak, Lil' Jumpin' Bean, Scientific Me-109, Gyrocopter, Top Flite Combat Kittens, Cox .020 bipe; P-40 Warhawk, and a Carl Goldberg Lil' Wizard. Of the planes shown, only the P-40 at right (with the built-up wing) is the only model I still don't have. You can see a wide assortment of stuff hanging on the pegboard. See the two big model car tires hanging on the pegboard right next to the Iron Cross decal set? I bought those at Hobby House in Algonquin Shopping Center for something like a $1. I didn't need them, but it was such a deal! I think I still have them, or perhaps I finally threw them out when I moved my stuff from the basement of my dad's house in 1987.
