This view shows the damage to Denny Greenwell's Panther after its crash at Samuels Field on April 22, 1973. The fuselage was splintered, but note the wing and tail surfaces are relatively unscathed. Note also the club's name on the rudder - BAM. I don't remember anyone else putting it on their plane after this. The hatch to a covered compartment on the outboard wing lays on the ground. I don't recall what Denny had planned for that compartment. Denny rebuilt the plane, and dubbed it Panther III.
