This was the first incarnation of my Lil' Jumpin' Bean. Note the
plethora of AMA decals on the plane. This was my first kit I built
with a built-up wing. The kit came with a canopy, but I never put it
on the plane. The rubber band on the wing is to hold the flying
handle and the lines. If you notice in the black-and-white photo of
this plane after it wrecked, you'll notice the rubber band is still
there -- in fact, the wing broke right where the rubberband was
located. I never liked this color scheme, which is why I changed it,
I reckon. |
