Photo Gallery - P-40 under construction

This photo was taken about March 1973. The P-40 is mostly complete now, though it would be quite some time before it flew. The box with my new K&B Stallion .35 is under the wing near the edge of the table. Standing up in back on the right, you can see the remains of a 1/2A model I was hoping to rework into something airworthy. It wa what was left of a Scientific kit called the Little Devil, I believe. The kits had solid balsa fuselages that were hollowed out. I later removed the fuselage from the wing and used the wing to create a home-brewed combat wing I called "The Living End." Unfortunately it didn't live long. It was a very erratic flier.
